According to public product information on the Tradevv supply chain platform, electronic label manufacturer Sertag has recently rolled out an enterprise-grade e-ink smart badge with the model number SETPN37_F. Featuring a 3.7-inch 4-color e-ink screen and a passive NFC power supply architecture, the device can complete content refresh without a built-in battery, and is designed for identification and information display scenarios including offices, healthcare facilities and large-scale exhibitions.

Driven entirely by energy harvested from 13.56MHz NFC radio frequency signals, the badge runs with no internal battery required. It consumes zero power in static display state, and the refreshed content can remain stable for a long time. The battery-free design also eliminates maintenance procedures such as charging and battery replacement, adapting to the demand for long-term mass deployment. The body is 3mm thick with rounded four corners, presenting a slim and lightweight profile.

In terms of display configuration, the badge is equipped with a 4-color e-ink panel supporting black, white, red and yellow pixels. Its active display area measures 47.04mm × 81.54mm with a resolution of 240×416, and the viewing angle is nearly 180 degrees. It supports display of text, barcodes, QR codes and images. Users can customize display templates according to application scenarios, to present different information such as names, job titles, departments and status prompts.

There are two approaches for content update. When used with a dedicated NFC card reader, it enables fast batch refresh, suitable for centralized management scenarios such as unified enterprise deployment and large exhibitions. It also supports integration with customers’ self-developed mobile applications or PDA devices, allowing single-device content refresh via NFC-enabled terminals to meet the demand for flexible on-site adjustment.

Per the marked applicable scopes, the badge can be applied to corporate employee ID badges, visitor and contractor management, staff and department identification in medical institutions, large conferences and exhibitions, as well as security information display supporting access control systems.
